I knew her then! She was a camper at Fernwood in the Berkshires at age 4 and by 5 she could write a log of the weeks activities that put the 15 year olds to shame. She was shy and oh so serious then, keenly observing her surrounds, tucking away commentary for her marvelous writing career.
